QuickBooks Online changes multiple times per year as the folks at Intuit crank out new and enhanced features into their premier cloud accounting system. That means you can open QBO on Monday, close it at the end of the day and when you open it again on Tuesday, you might see a change of interface. That's right, there might be a new item in the left-hand menu or an entirely new feature you had been hoping for.
The problem is that many of the changes to QBO are subtle, so you could miss them if it weren't for Insightful Accountant bringing you the latest news. That is exactly why our "QBO Monday Minute" feature exists. It's also why "QB Talks" focuses on "What's New in QBO" at least six times per year—roughly every other month.
All of this is my way of saying you need to plan on joining Liz Scott, for the rescheduled QB Talks this Wednesday June 21, at 2 p.m. (EST).
Liz will be sharing plenty of new information, including, but not limited to:
- Enhancements to QuickBooks Online Reports in Modern View — Learn about updated navigation to/from reports, greater efficiency in drilling into transactions, enhanced loading performance and visual cues to know when a report is in fact in Modern View.
- Budgeting capabilities in QuickBooks Online Advanced — Learn about the expanded budgeting capabilities of QBO-Advanced using Spreadsheet Sync with Excel, including the ability to import budgets, as well as produce budget reports in Excel.
- Standalone Contractor Payments and a new W-9 tracker in QuickBooks Online Accountant — Learn how to simplify your processes related to contractor payments and W-9 tracking when you are not using any other QuickBooks product using this new standalone functionality.
- Multi-condition workflows using decision-based actions and a new Visual Workflow Builder in QuickBooks Online Advanced — Learn how this feature can streamline your workflow by letting you set-up more sophisticated decision-based actions (including approval schemas) that fit your organization.
- And much more.
Best of all, Liz will not only help you learn how to access and navigate these features to boost efficiency and add value to your accounting practice, but she'll also give you real-world insights into how these new features, functions and capabilities can bolster your clients' businesses.
If you aren't already signed-up for "QB Talks," it's not too late. You can still register for this webinar HERE.
