Insightful Accountant has given you two articles and one video on how the Revenue Recognition features in QuickBooks Online Advanced allow users to automatically schedule Deferred Revenue transactions to comply with GAAP’s ASC 606 standard.
Recently, QBO Advanced has enhanced its revenue recognition functionality to meet even more sophisticated needs of users with respect to how the automatic calculations for revenue recognition are computed, simplification of editing and deleting of transactions associated with revenue recognition rules, and the ability to adjust revenue recognition related pricing and dates.
QBO Advanced users can now add products or delete product line items on an invoice or sales receipt or void an invoice or sales receipt for any reason after the fact. In addition, QBO Advanced users having need of the specialized revenue recognition functionalities should be aware of how Service Interval and Duration, Revenue Recognition Frequency, and Posting Frequency impact the manner in which revenue recognition is computed within QuickBooks Online Accountant.
To gain a better understanding of these features and functionalities, please join Alicia Katz Pollock for QB Talks on March 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM EDT, as she demonstrates the latest Revenue Recognition features within QuickBooks Online Advanced.
Alicia will be joined by Likith Lanka, Intuit’s Project Manager overseeing this new feature. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn about this functionality, how it is set-up and configured, and how you can modify revenue recognition schedules to meet the requirements of your clients using QBO Advanced.
In addition, you will be eligible for one (1) CPE Credit.
