Send Multiple Reports within One Email (See Figure 2)
New in all versions of QuickBooks for 2015 is the ability to send multiple reports within a single Email. In older versions of QuickBooks you had to attach individual reports to individual Emails.
If you need to send your boss all of the month-end financials while he is ‘at the lake’ and you are slaving away back at the office, this feature is for you. On the other hand if you are an Accountant or Bookkeeper, and you send all of your clients their prepared financial statements after the close of the month, then don’t forget to only include the actual ‘time’ and ‘single’ email charge when you make use of this feature (ha ha).
To use this new feature first begin by creating a Report Group: From the Menu bar, choose Reports, then select Memorized Reports, and pick Memorized Report List.
Now you can process the report group: Select Reports from the Menu bar, now select Process Memorized Reports, and then choose the option to Email. QuickBooks will launch your Email program and then attach each of the reports to a single Email.
This has the potential for being a real time saver, be sure to say “Thank you Intuit” the first time you use it.
