While Governor of New York, Franklin Delano Roosevelt held his first fireside chat via a radio broadcast. His agenda ultimately would lead to his nomination, and subsequent election to the Presidency of the United States.
Just eight days after taking office, Roosevelt delivered his first chat from the White House – a conversation that one historian said resulted in a "remarkable turnaround of the public’s confidence."
Now, I don’t profess to be FDR, but I do intend to hold some fireside chats over the next year. The chats are part of a change to our quarterly QBO updates from Intuit presentations to a more informal style, where I sit down with Insightful Accountant’s contributing QBO author, Liz Scott.
We'll talk about what’s new, enhanced, improved or beneficial in recent releases. We'll also have some tips and tricks thrown in for good measure.
So, while the weather outside (in January) maybe frightful, you can count on the fact that our fireside chat will be delightful, so let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Our first QBO update fireside chat will be, Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017 at 1 p.m. (EST) and repeated (live) at 6 p.m. (EST).
As you know, Liz is not only a big fan of QuickBooks Online, but also a daily practitioner of the product, supporting a gaggle of users. You won’t want to miss out on her favorite and fun features, need to know changes, and some "why did they" or "why didn’t they" speculation.
Who knows, we might even toast up S’mores. What could be more yummy for the tummy?
If you're already registered for QB Talks, you'll receive a formal Go-To-Webinar reminder. But if you're not registered, you can sign up here:
