A number of changes have been made to the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program over the past few years. Many of these changes have helped ProAdvisors become more visible and approachable by new clients.

Whereas the ProAdvisor Program has previously recognized 'levels,' the new ProAdvisor Program will be offering 'tiers' aimed at giving you more of what you need. It is designed to help you market and stay better connected with Intuit support by offering additional training and resources.
The new program has four tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Elite. These tiers have all of the existing offerings in the prior 'levels,' but each tier has additional benefits. One important note is that 'tiers will not affect your Find-A-ProAdvisor listing.'
The new tiers are based on points which give you credit for various client connections such as QuickBooks clients, payroll clients and active certifications. Another key aspect of this change is that 'if a ProAdvisor is a member of a firm, every member of that firm gets points for all client connections.'
The new tiers are also designed to create personal and firm growth with many exciting marketing resources. Some additional benefits include (1) discounts for Constant Contact email campaigns, (2) access to a new ProAdvisor merchandise store, and (3) access to a new Intuit Marketing Hub providing a library of marketing resources, guides and templates.
And that's not all, over the next few weeks Intuit will be releasing more information about the new QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program. Personally, I find the changes super exciting, and "I am stoked" about the idea of having access to official QuickBooks merchandise. I've been loving my QuickBooks backpack ever since QuickBooks Connect and have been 'jonesing' for a QuickBooks jacket for years...so I can hardly wait.
