Global software leaders Xero and Stripe join forces to bring seamless payments to millions of small businesses
Xero, the global small business platform, today announced a partnership with Stripe to develop new innovations that help small businesses get paid faster, in more ways, and gain more visibility over their business performance.
The global partnership, announced at Xerocon San Diego 2019, will enable new payments experiences that are more seamless and efficient for small business owners and their advisors around the world. Xero and Stripe are building new tools to invoice customers more efficiently, bring additional insights on their business performance and get paid, no matter how or where they do business.
The first two innovations announced today that are being developed under the new partnership include:
- A new Stripe feed, designed to bring comprehensive transaction data for all Stripe payments into Xero for easy reconciliation and greater insights, whether a small business invoices from the Xero platform or an ecommerce site, and
- Auto pay, allowing small businesses to set up and receive recurring payments for repeat billing customers directly through Xero

PwC and Xero extend global collaboration to help small business succeed
Xero has formed a global collaboration with the multinational professional services network, PwC. The collaboration now allows local PwC firms around the world to provide quick and easy access for their clients to access the Xero platform.
It builds on established relationships in the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. As a result of the new global collaboration, new advantages will emerge for small businesses based in markets like Asia, Europe, the United States and other countries to help accelerate their cloud adoption journey. It also outlines a commitment from both PwC and Xero to continue to innovate together, resulting in the development of efficient products and services for small businesses globally.

Xero announces smarter tools to help accountants and bookkeepers manage their digital practice
Xero unveiled major product enhancements aimed at empowering advisors - such as accountants and bookkeepers, to help them run their businesses more efficiently.
The new features, showcased at Xerocon San Diego 2019, demonstrate Xero’s continuing commitment to build best-of-breed technology for the US and Canadian markets. Xero is rolling out highly requested tools for advisors to digitize their tax workflows, including:
- New, smart tools for US and Canada advisors, helping them to manage their small business clients’ tax obligations by automating manual tasks and eliminating the hassle of tax time
