QuickBooks has always supported printing sheets of labels on standard printers, but new for 2016 QuickBooks adds support for printing to Zebra-compatible continuous feed label printers.
Users no longer need cumbersome workarounds required for what should have been a simple task, printing to a Zebra-compatible continuous feed label printer. Printing one label is now fast, easy and efficient. New for QuickBooks 2016 users can print single labels with a Zebra-compatible printer from any of the following lists and filters:
- Names List (all names)
- Filter for Customer Type
- Filter for Vendor Type
- Print Bar Codes (QuickBooks Enterprise with Advanced Inventory)
- Filter for Zip Codes that begin with ______________
This new feature is available within all versions of the QuickBooks Desktop product line. You can access this feature from the QuickBooks menu bar, by selecting File, Print Forms, Labels.
Select the list you want to print labels for, and then choose Printer Type, Label Printer (Single Label) and the 1” x <select your size> single label will default in the Label Format selection.
No more wasting time or label supplies trying to print one or two labels using an entire sheet, no more wasting time or struggling with having to unload your page printer and re-load it with labels. This new feature should greatly enhance productivity for QuickBooks users printing one label after another for different purposes.
