QuickBooks Inventory – The Basics

Ileen Eisen will cover the fundamentals of QuickBooks inventory for the ProAdvisor or consultant with limited experience in using QuickBooks Inventory features.  Topics include:

  • Determining your Client’s Need for Perpetual vs. Periodic Inventory Tracking
  • Setting-up QuickBooks Inventory Items
  • Inventory Order Management in QuickBooks – Purchase Orders and Item Receipts
  • Inventory Order Fulfillment in QuickBooks – Sales Orders, Pick Lists, Packing Slips and Shipments
  • Inventory Adjustments
  • Using Inventory Assemblies – Setting-up Bills of Materials and Recording Inventory Builds
  • Working with QuickBooks Inventory Reports.

QuickBooks Inventory – Deep Dive (Parts 1 & 2)

Ileen Eisen goes ‘beyond the basics’ of QuickBooks Inventory to cover more advanced features within the basic QuickBooks product.  This course does not focus on QuickBooks Enterprise ‘Advanced Inventory’ features.  Topics include:

  • Understanding QuickBooks ‘Average Cost’ and how it impacts your financial data
  • Troubleshooting Inventory – Detecting and Correcting Common Errors, and
