Leveraging Local Networking Groups
Jennifer Katrulya moderates this panel session focuses on building a local networking chapter. The class should greatly benefit existing and prospective leaders of The National Advisor Network, but it is possible to apply the expertise shared by the session's panelists to building any local networking group.
The panel will accept questions from attendees, but will begin the presentation focusing on how to locate participants and strategies for conducting an effective meeting.
The National Advisor Network facilitates local chapters that meet once each month in a live, in person venue. These chapters act as an extension of The National Advisor Network and are supported by the national organization logistically.
The National Advisor Network's goal for local chapters is to foster networking relationships between NAN members within local markets so advisors can cross refer services, share technical information, exchange business strategies and learn from live and web-delivered training in an interactive group setting.
Anyone currently participating in a local NAN chapter, or wishing to establish a local chapter will find this session most informative; the session will include a 10 minute, high level overview of the tools available to National Advisor Network chapter leaders, including procedures for maintaining the chapter web page, coordinating with the National Chapter Coordinator, maintaining the member roster and communicating with members.
