Joe Woodard and Doug Sleeter
Some of the most entertaining acts in history have been duos. Take for example, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin, or Jackie Gleason and Art Carney. Then there was George Burns and his wife Gracie Allen. Another all-time favorite of my own was Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, who can forget their ‘who’s on first’ routine? Today in Las Vegas, Penn and Teller are considered the best magician entertainment team of all time (and Teller doesn’t even speak). For those who ever saw any of these acts we laughed ourselves silly at their team work.
Well Intuit’s QuickBooks Connect 2014 is about to present the next great duo of entertainment at their special kickoff. On Tuesday October 21 from Noon until 1:40pm (PT), Joe Woodard and Doug Sleeter will team up to deliver their own unique views about cloud and accounting technology.
Yes, on stage together, these two giants of accounting technology and QuickBooks training will not only share minds in their typically entertaining and informative fashion, but then the two will sit down together and hold a fireside chat that will include an audience based Q&A session.
Joe Woodard of the National Advisor Network will address the fact that the accounting profession is at the beginning of a major paradigm shift. Key topics within Joe’s presentation will be how technologies are driving this shift, especially those technologies that streamline workflow and automate data entry.
Doug Sleeter of the Sleeter Group will focus on how to transition your Small Business clients to “the Cloud” without creating a tornado. Doug’s emphasis will be on how accountants must be ready to manage the migration of multiple connected systems to cloud-based platforms.
Following each of their keynote addresses, Doug and Joe will hold a fireside chat discussing their points of view as well as fielding questions from conference attendees.
Whether you have participated in Joe’s Scaling Hew Heights conference, or Doug’s Accounting Solutions conference, or have never experienced Joe and Doug in person before, you should find this ‘team’ entertaining and enlightening. This sharing of knowledge and 'connection' between these giants of the industry should be a lot more fun than rockem-sockem-robots.
The only thing missing will be YOU if you are not there. It's not too late, sign-up today to see the duo of a lifetime at QuickBooks Connect. If you are a member of the National Advisor Network, or the Sleeter Group, special discounts are available; contact your organization for the discount code used during registration.
