Insightful Accountant's QB Talks is is once again bringing you our 'App Neighborhood Watch' hosted by QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Kelly G (aka Kelly Gonsalves, the founder and chief visionary of Totally Booked), not that she is hopefully 'back in voice' from her bout with laryngitis.

Kelly will summarize several App's we have identified for this quarter showing you some screenshots or perhaps a short demo. She will tell you how you or your clients might use these Apps. Now don't expect in-depth reviews because we only have so much time to present a half dozen or so different Apps.

Kelly will be reviewing the following new(er) Apps we found in the Intuit QuickBooks App Center, along with a couple of her all-time-favorite Apps. (We have listed these Apps in my article in alphabetical order not necessarily the order of Kelly's presentation during the webinar):

  • A2X for Shopify - A2X will monitor your Shopify Store, detect payouts, and post sales and fees automatically to your QuickBooks ledger. A one step Ecommerce integrator like A2X makes getting your internet store data into QBO just that, 'one step.'
  • PriceCheck -PriceCheck runs two years of QuickBooks invoices through its algorithms to generate an instant report that shows how a business’s prices have changed over time.  That alone is pretty neat!
  • Sourcery - Sourcery provides a scalable solution for growing businesses by eliminating manual data entry. Simply scan or drag and drop your invoices into the platform and we extract the valuable information and mine it for product level insights.  The days of spending hours and hours of time manually extracting data from your accounting software (via the SDK or even Excel) and then manipulating it are over with tools like this one.
  • Synder - Synchronize your Stripe, PayPal, Square, Shopify, Ecwid sales transactions and expenses (including processor fees) with QuickBooks. Ecommerce integrators that 'do it right' are an important tool for retailers, if you are in Ecommerce be sure to check out this App that just happens to be one of Insightful Accountant's Top 100 sponsors too.
  • Syngency - Syngency unifies your bookings, accounting, scheduling, packages and more into an intuitive platform that you can manage from any device, anywhere, any time. Talk about an App that 'does more', this is one of those multi-purpose Apps you just have to check out.
  • TaxVerse -Transactions are automatically synced from QuickBooks Online to TaxVerse to determine where your company may have triggered sales tax collection requirements, estimate any sales tax exposure you may have state-by-state, and prepare sales tax filings.  Just when you thought you needed help with Sales Tax in QBO, here is TaxVerse.
  • Veem -Veem is a global payments solution built for small businesses and the accountants & bookkeepers who support them. It’s the easiest way to send and receive payments internationally to and from over 95 countries at better rates than banks.  When you have to send payments around the world, Veem them.
