QB Talks January: ProAdvisor Training Opportunities
(1) WEBINAR 1024x768 - QB Talks May 1024x768
Speakers - William Murphy & Kimberly Noh
Murph returns to QBTalks this month. He and Kimberly Noh, Founder/Accountant of Noh Hassle Bookkeeping present and discuss recent training opportunities that have arisen through Intuit.
Key among these opportunities is the new ‘ProAdvisor Academy,’ which offers QuickBooks Level 1 and Level 2 training and ‘Bookkeeper’ training.
We will explore the content differences between QuickBooks Level 1 and the ‘old’ ProAdvisor ‘Core’ certification and between QuickBooks Level 2 and the ‘old’ ProAdvisor ‘Advanced’ certification.
Next on the agenda is the ‘Intuit Academy,’ a training site for novices who Inuit says need no experience, “you don’t need any prior experience or knowledge to enroll in an Intuit Academy program.”
While there is no information available that would indicate that ProAdvisors taking these ‘Intuit Academy’ courses earn any recognition under the ProAdvisor Program, it is clear that these courses offer beneficial education that can bolster a ProAdvisor’s qualifications for expanding their practices in the areas of tax, bookkeeping, and sales of QuickBooks products.
While these courses indicate that they are a way for novices to gain the knowledge they need to participate in Intuit employment opportunities like ‘TurboTax Live’ or ‘QuickBooks Live Assist’ that same information can bolster a ProAdvisor’s qualifications to enhance their practice opportunities.
Murph and Kim will explore the learning objectives and content of each of the ten (10) training opportunities currently available at the Intuit Academy, including Tax Level 1, Tax Level 2, Intuit Bookkeeping Certification, QuickBooks Products, QuickBooks Sales.
So be sure to join us for QBTalks on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM Eastern.
If you have already signed up for QBTalks in the past, you are already registered for our 2025 program.
