The Fourth-of-July, also known as Independence Day commemorates the day upon which the official version of the Declaration of Independence was adopted July 4, 1776, recognizing our "independence" from England. While the final signature would not be penned until August 2nd, we celebrate this day as the 'birthday of our country.'
Many of you will be celebrating with your families by attending parades,or firework displays, some will be hosting barbecues and picnics, perhaps attending a celebratory concert, baseball game, family reunion, or taking a holiday vacation. No matter how you choose to enjoy this holiday enjoy never forget what this special day is really all about: The birth of this, the greatest country on Earth.
