Intuit has just announced a new ProAdvisor Training Medium, the "ProAdvisor In the Know" Hub. You may be familiar with Intuit's monthly In the Know Webinars, which will be known henceforth as "ProAdvisor In The Know."
Supplementing the monthly webinars will be Intuit produced YouTube recordings they describe as a 'weekly video show' featuring new product content education for ProAdvisors.
These new YouTube recordings are scheduled to be hosted by Jaclyn Anku, the ProAdvisor Training and Certification Leader. Intuit announced that the new recordings would feature Intuit leaders and a rotating cast of ProAdvisors who will share how QuickBooks has empowered them to grow their practices.
Even though these recordings are scheduled to be released 'weekly', an initial set of five (5) YouTube Recordings were posted to a feature within the Firm of the Future blog last Monday, May 6th.
- In The Know: Welcome
- QB Update: Spreadsheet Sync (ITK Episode 1)
- QB Update: Launch of QB Ledger (ITK Episode 2)
- QB Update: Bulk Assign & Edit Pay Items (ITK Episode 3)
- QB Update: 1099 Corrections (ITK (Episode 4)
Intuit has cranked out this entirely new format of training for ProAdvisors just after sunsetting their Trainer Writer Network; so, we can only assume that these new weekly vignettes were part of what Intuit was envisioning in new ways of delivering training to ProAdvisors.
Based on the four episodes of training content already available, they average around eleven (11) minutes in length. In these days of Podcasts, YouTubes and TikTok trending videos, none of us should find it surprising that these 'bite-sized' ProAdvisor episodes will be one of the new ways Intuit takes a dip into covering product innovations.
At the same time, the monthly ProAdvisor In The Know webinars will continue to be 60-minute live events featuring Intuit 'product leaders' discussing innovations in the QuickBooks Online ecosystem. Participants in those sessions can earn 1 CPE credit for successful attendance.
So, you have two ways to garner product education, either in-person at the month webinars or via recorded vignettes with the new weekly ProAdvisor In the Know YouTubes. Take your choice, or maybe even 'do both.'
