Just recently, Pilot closed a Series B round and received about 40 Million. They were an artificial intelligence bookkeeping only firm and now they are entering the tax space. That's really big news. If you're aware of Scalefactor, they are doing artificial intelligence bookkeeping and tax as well. What does this mean for the accounting industry? It actually gives me great ANGST! It kind of freaks me out because it means that real tech money is coming into the accounting space. A lot of you may wonder why I've been so engaged with Botkeeper. It's because they want to partner with firms and NOT take them over! Listen to hear my thoughts!
