After days of debate between Senate Republicans, Democrats and the Administration the U.S. Senate has just approved an extra COVID-19 Aid Package that will replenish the Paycheck Protection Program of the Small Business Administration to fund small businesses payrolls as well as provide funds for hospitals and COVID-19 testing needed as part of the 're-opening' of America.
Passage was swift and unanimous in the Senate, and President Trump 'tweeted' his support for the legislation indicating that he would sign the bill into law just as soon as it was passed by the House.
The Bill will now go to the House of Representatives, which is expected to conduct a vote as early as Thursday and no later than Friday of this week on the bill. Both Democratic and Republican leaders from the House have indicated that they expect the legislation to pass.
