For many, this Friday through Sunday represents one or more holidays of their faith. For others, it is a time to enjoy the freshness of spring.
It also means at least a few days delay in filing those 2021, 1040 tax returns from April 15-18.
Some will celebrate the Passover Seder on Friday, observing the festive meal that commemorates the Exodus, where God freed the Israelites from slavery in Egypt.
Others will celebrate Easter on Sunday, which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus following his death on the cross.
Many will take the opportunity to enjoy spring's warm weather, maybe heading out for an Easter-egg hunt, where the prize is all those colored or candy eggs the Easter Bunny hid.
No matter your faith or belief, celebrating this diverse, multicultural weekend in your own way, while gathering with others—even if that involves some unfamiliar activities—need not be concerning.
You don't always have to do things perfectly. That's what makes life so special. Each of us are individuals, which is the very definition of diversity.
So please enjoy this extended multicultural weekend—and do so safely.
