Gingerbread Fun Awaits You and I Both

Apparently the North Pole called and told Liz (Scott) and Heather (Satterley), two of our favorite people, that it was time to get festive, so they are again hosting the QB ‘Appy Hour’s 2nd Annual Gingerbread Ecosystem-House Competition!

Accountants, bookkeepers and their app developer friends are all invited to participate in The QB ‘Appy Hour Competition. You can buy a kit, bake your gingerbread from scratch — but you can't enter with a gingerbread house and decorations on it and the more elaborate, the more likely 'I am' to consider it worthy.  That's right I am back for this year as your official 'one and only' Gingerbread House Judge!

The holidays are upon us, and winter celebrations come with many traditions perfect for sharing. No matter if you decorate with your family, alone or with your team share the joy with your friends and win some cool stuff for your stocking. To join in the fun you need to:

  1. Decorate a gingerbread house
  2. Take a picture of your gingerbread house and post to either our QB ‘Appy Hour Facebook or Twitter page
  3. Tag @qbappyhour @RightNetworks, @Avalara and @LocateInventory and use hashtag #edibleecosystem

I will be judging all entries submitted on Dec 23, 2019 and the winners will be officially announced by Liz and Heather on Dec 28, 2019.

Just look at some of the Gingerbread houses that were tested out at today's QuickBooks Connect Canada in Toronto.... you have a lot of work to do this year if you are going to win one of the great prizes being offered up.... and "boy, am I going to have a lot of gingerbread to munch on..."!

The sugar plums are already dancing in my head... of course that might be from the fact that I have been eating 'Red and Green M&Ms' all afternoon and I have such a sugar rush that I'm seeing things.
