In a story from Business Insider, Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi explains Intuit, which owns QuickBooks®, Turbo-tax, Mailchimp and CreditKarma, has managed to avoid mass tech layoffs.
Goodarzi goes on to say that the nearly 300,000 staff laid off by other tech firms since the start of 2022 (per Layoffs.fyi) came down to those companies misunderstanding the pandemic.
The number of total Intuit employees actually rose from 13,500 in 2021 to 17,300 as of July of 2022.
