Intuit’s vision is to be the #1 trusted partner of accounting and tax professionals worldwide, delivering the transformative products and services they need to drive their growth. With this vision in mind, we're excited to welcome Simon Williams, vice president of the Accountant Segment within the Global Business Solution Group at Intuit.
“What’s evident when you walk the halls at Intuit is the focus on delivering for the customer - to power their prosperity around the world,” Simon said. “The partnership and role accountants have played in Intuit’s journey to deliver for its customers is significant. I see my role here as helping figure out what the next chapter of that partnership looks like, to build on its strong foundation, and take it to the next level.”
Before joining Intuit, Simon worked at Adobe for more than 15 years, most recently as the vice president of emerging solutions and partnerships, with a focus on leveraging the power of AI to deliver products that meet customer needs. He also served in business development and strategy roles for various organizations, including the BBC and IBM.
In a recent episode of the On the Books Podcast, Simon spoke with Jessica McCracken, Accountant Segment business strategy and partnership leader, about his new role and excitement about the opportunity to apply his expertise in partnerships to the accounting community.
“In these first few weeks, I’ve been talking to accountants about the state of the industry, the state of our relationship, how we can better deliver for accountants, and to figure out what the strategy of growth for both Intuit and accountants looks like moving forward,” Simon said. “I want to hear from the community, so please give me feedback in any way that’s convenient and I’ll try my best to respond.“
