Recently, they made several announcements to support our shared mission of small business success, including launch of an Allstate Health Solutions partnership, and a new initiative with leading accounting, consulting, and technology firm Crowe LLP.
Allstate Health Solutions + QuickBooks Now Available
Following the partnership announcement at last year’s QuickBooks Connect with Allstate Health Solutions, the comprehensive benefits offerings are now available for enrollment.
Businesses using QuickBooks Online Payroll have the option to research and purchase insurance plans through a specially designed online portal. Accountants can share this new solution with their clients, and if extra guidance is needed, they can also access a team of Allstate Health Solutions benefits advisors dedicated to building the right plan for their business and employees.
The offering is purpose built to support small businesses, with features that make the lives of accountants easier. Once enrolled, deductions are synced with QuickBooks Payroll, eliminating the risk of errors and saving the trouble of making manual adjustments each time a new employee is on-boarded or a team member’s deductions change.
Offering health benefits has great payoffs for small businesses, too. Businesses that offer health insurance attract and retain top talent, improve employee health and productivity, and could see cost savings.

Crowe Beacon Enables Minority Owned SMB Growth
On February 26, QuickBooks and Crowe LLP announced their new collaboration with Crowe Beacon, a small business advancement initiative, focused on helping BIPOC, women, and veteran-owned small businesses grow, enhance financial maturity, and become more capital-ready.
This program will give an initial 1,000 qualifying U.S. small businesses access to the QuickBooks financial technology platform along with accounting and consulting services from Crowe.
Nearly 20% of small businesses are minority-owned, and for Black small business owners, reports find that 30% have relied on credit cards to fund investments in their business’s future growth.
Crowe Beacon is tailored to serve the needs of high-performing businesses that may historically be underserved and under-resourced – with a specific focus on BIPOC businesses with annual revenues below $5 million. Crowe Beacon offers several benefits, including:

- Support that will help enterprises develop, mature, and evolve their financial and business planning capabilities in a way that better positions them to leverage financial and capital mechanisms.
