QuickBooks® Live Bookkeeping (QuickBooks Live) is Intuit's new monthly subscription offering for QuickBooks Online users who aren’t currently connected to ProAdvisors® and accounting professionals. While many QuickBooks Online users are connected to ProAdvisors through the Find-a-ProAdvisor platform, Intuit's research has revealed around 40% of small businesses don’t presently work with ProAdvisors or bookkeepers. Many of those not aligned with a ProAdvisor, bookkeeper or accountant say they are not ready for a long-term relationship, that’s where Intuit hopes that QuickBooks Live can provide needed assistance in much the same way their 'Turbotax Live' program has assisted taxpayers self-preparing their own tax returns.

But for ProAdvisors needing extra income, QuickBooks Live may in fact provide a new opportunity to supplement their existing revenues while having the flexibility of remote work and setting their own hours. Over the next few months, QuickBooks Live will be adding additional Bookkeepers based upon customer demand.
Intuit has announced that ProAdvisors interested in participating in QuickBooks Live may provide their information through this official website for future consideration. ProAdvisors who previously submitted provided their information will be contacted directly, so there is no need to sign up again.
In addition to being QuickBooks Online Certified, some of the other requirements to participate in the QuickBooks Live program are:
One of the following:
- an active CPA credential (Certified Public Accountant), or
- an active CPB credential (Certified Public Bookkeeper), or
- 3+ years of recent experience managing the books for a Small Business Clients, or
- received a 4-year business degree in Accounting/Finance;
