Woodard Events, LLC is offering free weekly round tables to provide actionable information for accounting and bookkeeping professionals to guide their firms and their clients through the economic impacts of the global crisis related to COVID-19. The round tables will be held on Tuesdays at 1:00 PM ET.
“As the US economy has been put on pause by the Coronavirus, small businesses have been significantly threatened,” said Joe Woodard, CEO, Woodard Events. “Accountants and bookkeepers are in a unique position to guide their small business clients through this national emergency.”
Typical small businesses in the United States do not have enough cash reserves to cover 30 days of expenses if revenues are completely disrupted, with even smaller cash reserves in minority communities, according to JPMorgan Chase Institute.
Each interactive, informal Woodard Events’ COVID-19 Advisor Round Table will include a subject matter expert who will speak to the issues and take questions from attendees. Topics during this series include, but are not limited to emergency funding, virtualization of operations, supply chain interruptions, insurance coverage, payroll and HR compliance, facility remediation and clean up and short-term shifts in market demand.
