Thanks to Victor and Laura Madeira and the entire Chapter Membership for the invite to present. I had a great time at the Woodard Group - Dallas Chapter last night (May 8, 2018) presenting a one-hour encapsulation of the four courses I will be teaching at this year's Scaling New Heights Conference in June.
Dallas group 20180508
About 16 people at the meeting held at the lovely Northwood Club (a beautiful golf and country club) located in north Dallas thanks to the sponsorship of John Pask and GoBenefits. By the way, if you haven't checked-out GoBenefits you really should do so at either the Intuit App Center or in my article.
Every time I hear John speak on GoBenefits I see more and more advantages for ProAdvisors to become even closer to their clients as trusted advisors this time by giving them the opportunity to find benefit coverage(s) in the most simplistic method possible. At last night's meeting John revealed a new 'partner program' for ProAdvisors and Insightful Accountant will be giving you the specifics on that offering in a future edition of our Advisor Alliance series.
Dallas meeting locale
The Dallas Group is always a fun time. I try to attend 3 or 4 times per year since it is only about a 3-1/2 hour drive from Moore (Oklahoma) to where the meetings are frequently held at Intuit's Plano Campus. But last night's meeting was especially lovely and everyone in attendance seemed to really enjoy the new surroundings. Again, all I can say is thank you to John for providing the locale.
Those in attendance at last night's meeting included QuickBooks ProAdvisors, Enrolled Agents, Accountants and Bookkeepers from all over the Dallas Metroplex which is growing in leaps and bounds. This is the third time I have presented to this group in the last 5 years and they always have a keen interest in the topics I share and a lot of great questions.
Of those in attendance, about 90% will be traveling to Atlanta for Scaling New Heights, as will I. We all hope to see you there.
