PKF US firm PKF Mueller and Mueller dotKonnect (MdK)—a separate, yet related firm—have signed up for the Xero and PKF Global partnership agreement, which was initially announced last year.
This means Xero becomes the preferred accounting solution for PKF Mueller and MdK and their small- to medium-business clients, and underpins the benefits of adopting cloud accounting into practices.
PKF Mueller CEO David Nissen says that leadership at both PKF Mueller and MdK recognize the significance of embracing and harnessing the power of cloud accounting solutions. “Xero is an exceptional platform that empowers our clients, especially those engaged in international business, to make better business decisions with quality, insight-driven solutions.”
Xero supports the PKF network both domestically and internationally, working with their partners and customers to create a people-first approach to serving small businesses. With both a global strategy and a local implementation, teams are able to align their combined dedication to cloud services and similar values seamlessly.
Mueller dotKonnect President Phani Illapakurty says the accounting profession’s utilization of cloud applications has matured quite a bit, not only in terms of technology tools but also within the mindset of SMB clients. “Xero has outperformed some of the other solutions in terms of user experience, functionality, reporting, and support. A big differentiator we noticed is the proactive engagement from Xero's US management team to help us help our clients better, faster and more efficiently."
To ensure specialization and expertise in Xero, both PKF Mueller and MdK have taken the proactive approach of initiating the Xero certification process for more than 30 team members. “Maintaining a continued focus on the people behind the small businesses is what has aligned our two companies, and makes this partnership seamless across entities,” says David Bell, EGM of Global Partner Sales at Xero.
