You can apply for the 2025 U.S. ProAdvisor Awards HERE or nominate a U.S. ProAdvisor HERE.
The Insightful Accountant 2025 U.S. ProAdvisor Awards are now open, including the Top 100 ProAdvisors from the U.S., the Top 25 Up-n-coming ProAdvisors, and the ProAdvisor of the Year.
The 2025 Awards Process
For 2025, the Insightful Accountant ProAdvisor Awards are now a year-round process. Extending the process will make the Awards available to more ProAdvisors.
Applicants potentially have up to seven months to complete their formal applications. They can do so on a come-and-go basis, allowing them to enter training, certifications, and more as earned. The voting period for candidates will also be extended, providing greater opportunity to cast ballots for deserving ProAdvisors.
Insightful Accountant's U.S. and International ProAdvisor Awards process will run on the same schedule for 2025*.
U.S. ProAdvisor Qualifications for 2025
The qualifications for these awards are:
- As of 2025, the U.S. ProAdvisor awards are only open to ProAdvisors residing in the United States of America (or its territories). ProAdvisors residing outside the U.S. (or its territories) are ineligible for these awards even when holding U.S. ProAdvisor Certification.
- All U.S. ProAdvisor applicants must actively practice as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor® and, in so doing, support or provide services to one or more actual clients using QuickBooks® (Desktop, Online, or Ledger**)
- U.S. ProAdvisor applicants must hold at least one of the following three Intuit (U.S.) ProAdvisor Certifications: QuickBooks Online (Core), QuickBooks Online (Advanced) or QuickBooks Desktop. Such certifications must have a current date of issue no older than November 1, 2023. Recertification since such date also qualifies.
Nominating Your Favorite ProAdvisor
Individuals may nominate their favorite ProAdvisor. Individuals nominating their favorite ProAdvisor must provide essential contact information for themselves and the nominee. The nominee will be notified via email of their nomination and the individual nominating them. That email will give the nominee access to the 'formal application.'
Nominations for U.S. ProAdvisors by a 3rd party will remain open until 11:59:59 PM, Pacific Standard Time on December 10, 2024*.
The official nomination form can be found HERE.
U.S. ProAdvisor Formal Applications
ProAdvisors need not nominate themselves or use the Nomination form to access the Formal Application.
U.S. ProAdvisors shouldn't bother with the nomination form; they can go straight to the 2025 application form. (Murph)
U.S. ProAdvisors can apply HERE.
- After some initial questions, applicants will be screened against the minimum requirements, including uploading their current certification(s).
- Eligibility determination will be made immediately upon the required data being confirmed, and applicants will be notified within the application form regarding eligibility results.
- Applicants initially determined ineligible can update their status (like a new certification), re-open their application form, and potentially qualify before the end of the multi-month application process.
- Applicants can open, close, re-open, and continue working on their application forms until the process closes. This means it is essential that you maintain the unique URL you will be emailed the first time you use the save and continue option.
- Whether a ProAdvisor has finalized or is still working their way through their application, on or about the first Tuesday in January 2025*, all applicants will be notified to 're-open' and review their application forms, looking for additional content that may have been updated.
- Once the application period closes, all (complete or partial) applications will be 'frozen for scoring' and no longer be accessible.
U.S. ProAdvisor applicants must finalize their application forms by February 11, 2025, at 12:59:59 PM Pacific Standard Time*.
After the 2025 Applications Close
An earlier start to nominations allows ProAdvisors to begin the application process immediately, and an earlier application close date means that voting can begin sooner. Insightful Accountant will advise participants and the ProAdvisor community about the voting dates well before the voting period begins.
