What Does It Take to Be Part of Insightful Accountant's 2024 ProAdvisor Awards?
It Takes YOU Participating! (Murph)
There are two ways to participate (1) being nominated by someone else, or (2) nominating yourself.
Being Nominated by Someone Else
This year, when someone nominates a ProAdvisor for the 2024 Awards process, an Email is immediately sent to the nominee's Email address provided by the nominator.
That's one way YOU have the ability to participate!
That Congratulatory Email should appear in your in-box looking something like the one shown below.
If you don't have time when you receive that Email to begin the Formal Application, or you don't believe you have all the information you will need to complete the form, be sure to flag the email in your Inbox (as I did for the one above). That way you can easily find the Congratulatory Email to begin the Formal Application when you are ready.
If you open the Congratulatory Email you will find two important things:
- The name of the person who nominated you, and
- The link to your 2024 Formal Application.
I suggest you open the Congratulatory Email and click on the link to begin the Formal Application process in order to read through the Nomination Instructions describing the 2024 process (which is different than in past years).
Nominating Yourself
If you go to the 2024 nomination website you will quickly find out that as soon as you tell us you are nominating yourself you are looking not at a nomination form any longer, but you are looking at the formal application form. We've eliminated the need for self-nominees to fill out both a nomination form and application.
In addition, whether you are a self-nominee or a been nominated by someone else, we've eliminated the waiting period between nomination and application.
New Formal Application
The new Formal Application form is required of all applicants (from 'any' country) for the 2024 Awards process regardless of their participation in Top 100 (US) ProAdvisor Awards, Up-n-coming ProAdvisor Awards, or the new International ProAdvisor Awards.
We've given you more time to complete your application, and made it easier than ever to "save and continue" the form once you complete at least the first page of the application.
Upon opening the Formal Application, you are asked to confirm that you are providing information regarding yourself. When you do that, you will activate a series of basic questions like Name, Address, Country, some demographics and YOUR all important Email (address confirmation). Make certain to complete all of the information on page 1 by clicking Next.
Once you do that, you activate the ability to 'Save and Continue' the Formal Application at your leisure so long as it is completed by not later than the February 20, 2024 23:59:59 Pacific-time Deadline.
When you choose to 'Save and Continue', you will receive another important Email in your in-box like the one I have highlighted and flagged for completion in the example below.
When you open the 'Complete Your 2024 ProAdvisor Awards Application' email there is a big 'pink box' that is your way back to Your unique form.
This email makes it possible or you to easily access your Formal Application any time you want to add more information.
Nomination and Application Status
As of the time I was writing this article, about 70% of all nominations are self-nominations, and about 30% are nominations by a 3rd-party.
- Of the 30% nominated by someone else, about 50% of those have at started their Formal Application.
- Of the 70% self-nominated, about 75% of those have completed the majority of their Formal Application.
Are You On Course to be a 2024 ProAdvisor Awards Recipient?
My question to you is, are you one of the 272 individuals who have used the 2024 ProAdvisor Awards Nomination site in the first three days it's been open?
Or are you one of the 117 ProAdvisors who have already opened their Formal Application and are working toward completing it for this year's Awards Process?
If not, then now is a great time to at least begin that process.
Nominate Yourself, or some other deserving ProAdvisor, from anywhere around globe, using this link to the official 'Awards Launch' article.
