ProAdvisor Nominations
- ProAdvisors may be self-nominated or nominated by another ProAdvisor during the nomination period.
- Nominations will be accepted for Qualified QuickBooks Professionals the world over.
- The number of nominations submitted for an individual has no impact on the outcome of the selection process. It does not matter if a nomination comes from the nominee or if the nominee is provided by a nominator so long as all required information for the nomination is correct.
- When completing the nomination form, no personal or professional details other than those necessary to identify both the nominee and nominator are required during the initial nomination process.
Nominee Qualifications
- To be considered for these awards, nominees from the US must hold one or more current Intuit US ProAdvisor (Online or Desktop) certifications.
- International participants—regardless of what country they practice in—must hold Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor status or the equivalent*, for their country, a country within their Intuit Global Region or have a formal ProAdvisor Certification from any of the countries where Intuit issues actual QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.
- While duplicate country certification is acceptable, cross-certification is accepted only when a person’s application demonstrates they predominately conduct business with clients in their non-resident country.
- All nominees must actively practice as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor/Professional with one or more actual clients using QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop). Individuals providing staff services without any actual client interaction in rendering ProAdvisor/Professional services using QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) are not eligible for these awards.

Dates related to that step and other selection process information will be provided as part of that notification. Such notification may take the form of either an email or an article published within Insightful Accountant.

Footnotes & Disclosures:
*-country equivalency is based upon the offerings Intuit makes available for Accountants, Bookkeepers, and Business Advisors within each country and/or Intuit Region. For example, in a country like South Africa, even though Accountants can sign-up to become ProAdvisors to access QBO-Accountant, it doesn’t offer (at the time this disclosure was written) QuickBooks ‘ProAdvisor Certification’ but does offer QuickBooks Online Accountant Certification and various supporting courses. **-Insightful Accountant actively monitors such available offerings during the nomination and application process to determine candidate qualification and equivalency and will always coordinate with Intuit officials and the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program should questions arise.
