Intuit is offering a FREE Virtual Conference for ProAdvisors on supporting the Mid-market with QuickBooks Online Advanced.

Intuit’s virtual event will be held, Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, and Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023. Each day will begin at 11 a.m. (EST) and end at 6:45 p.m. (EST).
In addition to an opening keynote presentation, a variety of sessions over the two days will be commingled with opportunities to virtually network with other conference attendees, visit the Exhibit Hall of vendors, and check in with the Demo Lounge for product demonstrations.
Conference sessions will cover how to broaden ProAdvisors' services, grow your practice's client base and, ultimately, boost your revenue by adding mid-market clients. With an increasing number of businesses using QuickBooks Online for their accounting, it is becoming simpler for ProAdvisors to expand their services into the mid-market.
The session will target the mid-market to expand your services and reviews using QuickBooks Online. It also will discuss the differences between mid-market and small business advisory services.
The session also will deal with common objections ProAdvisors may encounter when approaching mid-market businesses.

Session 1 – Capitalize on Advisor Services to Unlock Growth for Your Firm
Helina Patience will discuss how businesses are leaning more on their accountants and bookkeepers to assist them with strategy and execution than ever before. As a result, the demand for advisory services has skyrocketed.
The session will provide a practical playbook on the structures and tech to provide advisory services, whether you are just starting or trying to enhance your advisory practice. It also will review practical ways to gear your advisory services into niche segments of the mid-market.
Most importantly, it will cover ways to bring value to your clients by impacting their businesses.

Session 2 – Practical Pricing
Michelle Long will seek to show you how hourly billing and older pricing models are now obsolete as a result of improved efficiency and data availability. She then will identify ways you can add value to your services.
Looking at the practical aspects of pricing, the session will focus on how to create three choices for your services. In addition, you walk away understanding what you must consider when setting your price structure. You also will discover tips for communicating with your clients about your pricing and handling any objections they may pose.

Session 3 – Intro to App Advisory Services
Designed to introduce ProAdvisors to the concept of offering app advisory services, Liz Scott will cover topics, including what it means to be an App Advisor and how an app advisory practice can benefit clients. Various apps will be used to demonstrate the concepts of app basics and complexities.
In discussing the benefits of offering app advisory services, various firms offering app advisory services will be presented.

Thursday, Oct. 12:
Session 4 – Conversion to QBO Made Easy
MB Raimondi takes you through different conversion methods from QuickBooks Desktop to QBO to remove the guesswork of migrating features such as inventory, payroll, and sales taxes. She will cover the aspects of pre-conversion, conversion and post-conversion requirements for successful migrations.
The session focuses on simple conversions, conversions of files with sales taxes, conversions of files with payroll and conversions of files with inventory.

Session 5 – Deep Dive into QuickBooks Online Advanced
Bryce Forney will explore the features available as part of QuickBooks Online Advanced. He will discuss the differences between QBO Advanced and other accounting solutions as they apply to growing and mid-market businesses.
The session will focus on the unique features of QBO Advanced, including workflows, enhanced reporting, custom fields, custom user permission, accelerated invoicing, and more.

Session 6 – Advanced App Advisory Services
Liz Scott will take you through developing an App Stack in preparation for entering or growing your App Advisory service offering. Different App Stack types will be discussed, along with identifying the best App Stack for specific business types.
Methods for researching, reviewing, and evaluating apps and app implementation strategies will be presented. Discussion of methods for assuring the ongoing support of the apps being used by your clients as part of a successful App Practice will be emphasized.
