Notifications have started going out to nominees in Phase 2 of Insightful Accountant's 2022 Top 100/ProAdvisor of the Year awards' process. We sent out several different types of notices to nominees (not all notices were sent at the same time).
- First — US nominees "initially cleared" as meeting the minimum criteria will begin receiving email notifications advising them they can proceed to the required "formal application" phase of the process. These selections were based on the nominees' information and our ability to verify that information against their profiles on the Find a ProAdvisor website. Instructions for accessing and completing the formal application will be included in your email. This includes the option of selecting the short-form (only for candidates from the US or Canada who participated in 2020) or the long-form (for all other candidates), as well as other related information.
- Second — Notices also are being sent to nominees seeking more information needed for clarification or verification of credentials, or other minimum criteria in order to determine the minimum qualifications. For example, if we cannot verify a US nominee's status as a "currently certified" QuickBooks ProAdvisor because the nominee does not appear on the Find a ProAdvisor website, a notification requesting documentation of their current status will be sent. If you receive one of these notices, it is critical you respond with the requested information. Note: You will not be permitted to continue in the process until you have provided the requested information/documentation.
- Third — International nominees who have been "conditionally cleared" will receive notifications. This is based on their nomination information and our ability to verify that information using official Intuit resources identifying ProAdvisors by country of origin. These "conditionally cleared" candidates can proceed to the required formal application. They will receive instructions on how to access and complete the "long-form," which is required of all International candidates. This will preclude Canadian candidates who completed a 2020 application form and elected to complete the "short form." This is a result of the changes made this year to evaluate and give proper credit for International participation on a global basis—whether you are within the "Americas" or "Non-Americas" geographically defined awards.
- Additional notifications may be issued as a follow-up to respondents other nominees not previously processed due to inadequate or erroneous information, or nomination information inconsistent with the minimum requirements of the awards program.
We rely upon the information provided us in the submitted nomination forms. Unfortunately, we do not have a crystal ball. If an email is wrong and it gets kicked back/out, we do not have a way of tracking it down. There are far too many candidates to do that anyway.
Please be patient. If you know you were nominated and you are a qualified Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor (certified when practicing in a country that offers certification) with an actual Client Practice, and you have not received an email notification within five days of this published notice, sent us a comment in this article section and we will get back to you.
