This week, Kathy Grosskurth is our featured member of Insightful Accountant's Top 100 (U.S.) ProAdvisors. She has her own bookkeeping practice called, 'Bookkeeping Clean and Simple' in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Kathy offers individualized training in both QuickBooks Online and Desktop platforms. Her services are primarily targeted towards accountant users, but she also works with small business owners who are just starting out and are keeping their own books.
Kathy also works with a half dozen clients keeping their books on an ongoing basis, which helps to keep her current on all the frequent updates and changes.
When Insightful Accountant asked Kathy,"how does the ProAdvisor Award fit into your firm's mission?", she replied:
The ProAdvisor Award has provided me with credibility and exposure to help legitimize the importance of the work that I do every day within our profession. Work like providing training, support and resources to other accounting professionals and businesses needing help maximizing their use of QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
We also asked, "how have you leveraged your ProAdvisor Award to promote your firm?", Kathy responded:
I’ve been able to leverage my ProAdvisor Award to team up with some incredibly talented people in our industry whereby we offer mutual referrals, work on joint projects together, and just genuinely support one another.
Those I’ve met have been quite selfless and giving of themselves. I am truly blessed and grateful to be a part of such a giving and supportive community!

Is there anything you would like to share about your 'home life'?
Having moved to Florida from the Atlanta area in early 2023, my husband and I enjoy being empty-nesters. We’ve taken opportunities to travel the state and visit the beach quite a bit. We are also proud grandparents to two lovely granddaughters. We’ve truly been blessed!
