I'm Brandon Bruce. I'm a co-founder and as I like to call it chief Cat herder at Uncat. So Uncat is an app that helps accountants and bookkeepers fix uncategorized transactions with their clients.
So why we built it is because my co-founder, Adam, has a big firm in Knoxville called Two Roads, and they were sending out about 350 spreadsheets of uncategorized transactions a month to all of their clients.
And the clients didn't love it and the team was burning out, getting all the responses back. So we built an app, syncs with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Desktop and Xero notifies. Clients automatically about Uncategorized transactions, gets their answers back so that you can then categorize the transactions and sync 'em back into QuickBooks.
So it's a big time saver for both the accountant and the client. It's a great question. It really varies based on how many Uncategorized transactions a given client has. But on average, when we've benchmarked it, you spend about. Per uncategorized transaction from the exporting to the reminding the client to copy pasting their response back into QuickBooks.
Whereas with Uncat, we get that down to about five seconds cause all the syncing is happening in the background. The client's doing a lot of the work and then you just categorize at the end so it makes it a lot faster. Yeah. We're just @uncat.com. We do demos all the time. There's also a free two week trial.
