While we don't have the official 'In-Print' Notice from the U.S. Treasury's Internal Revenue Service as of 'Press Time', it does in fact appear that the April 15 Income Tax Deadline, with at least respect to paying tax due at the 'time of filiing' has been extended by 90 days as part of the Coronavirus relief implemented by the Federal Government.
While taxpayers must still file tax returns, or extensions, by the April 15 deadline, they will not be required to pay any tax owing for 90 days. That 90-day period will be interest and penalty free for individuals owing less than $1M and for corporations owing less than $10M.
We are awaiting more guidance with the official announcement that should be posted by the IRS at: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom probably by the time you actually read this. If you are interested you can watch a video clip here of the announcement of this relief action set in motion by President Trump and Treasury Secretary Mnuchin.
Once the official link is updated, or more information becomes formally available we will post it as an addition/supplement to this article.
