Two web addresses have been added to the poster, one for applying for benefits using CONNECT, and the other for individuals to register for work through Employ Florida. Regulatory language regarding this posting: The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, Reemployment Assistance, formerly known as unemployment compensation has created a new web address for online filing called CONNECT and on completing the application for reemployment assistance, an applicant must register for work through Employ Florida which assists in finding a job, creating a resume, reemployment assistance and education and training.

Florida Minimum Wage Poster Change
The Florida Minimum Wage poster has been updated.
The Florida Minimum Wage poster has been updated to reflect an increase in the minimum wage. The minimum wage will increase from $8.46 per hour to $8.56 per hour effective January 1, 2020. The minimum wage for tipped employees will also increase from $5.44 per hour to $5.54 per hour in addition to tips. This posting appears on the Florida Combination Poster. This is a mandatory change.
Statutory language regarding this posting: The Florida minimum wage is $8.56 per hour effective January 1, 2020. Florida law requires the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity to calculate a minimum wage rate each year. The annual calculation is based on the percentage increase in the federal Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers in the South region for the 12-month period prior to September 1, 2019. The increase for 2019 is 1.12% or 0.10 cents.
