It is almost like the Christmas season. The gatherings. Great friends in tow. My calendar is packed with all the super exciting upcoming events filled with tech and knowledge and networking.
To get you excited, I wanted to share all the upcoming events so you can join in on the fun.
Let’s take a look:
AccountingWeb Summit

This week, the “AccountingWeb Summit” is happening in San Diego. AccountWeb’s first-ever live, in-person event will be held from May 9-12 at Paradise Point Resort & Spa.
The focus is to uncover the future of accounting from the experts in the industry. You also can earn CPE credits from the CPE-accredited sessions. I am excited to see all of our people and learn about the up-and-coming tech.
Future Forward Virtual Conference
Insightful Accountant is bringing back its virtual conference on May 18 and 19. This FREE event runs from 11:00 - 3:00 Eastern on both days and offers up to 8 CPE credits. The focus of this event is integrations, featuring sessions on Post Tax Season Review, QBO, Xero, QB Desktop and many other topics. Registration is open!

Also in May, “Accountex” is coming up. Slated for London, May 11-12, the event is for accountants and finance professionals. More than 250 global brands and cutting-edge start-ups will be on hand to show you how to transform your business.
In addition, there is a CPD-accredited education program with more than 180 sessions, offering everything you need to get ahead in your career.

Appy Hour Camp
‘Appy Hour will be holding its first, never before seen ‘Appy Hour Camp. If you have not heard of Appy Hour, it is a fun resource that brings apps to accountants in bi-weekly episodes with a twist and cocktails.
‘Appy Hour Camp was curated to support the intentional educator and serve as an incubator for the next round of aspiring educators in the accounting industry, while providing space for end-users and app developers to unite in a collaborative setting.

QB Connect

Last, but not least, I am so looking forward to attending “QuickBooks Connect.” It will be the first time the event is in-person since COVID hit. You can join the fun in Las Vegas at the ARIA, Dec. 7-9.
The focus is on accounting professionals and ProAdvisors who help drive the success of the QuickBooks platform and ecosystem. More details are to be revealed this month.
In his recent post, Ted Callahan said, “With this focus on accounting professionals, QuickBooks Connect will include in-depth QuickBooks training sessions and unique content specifically designed for you and your firm; and will be delivered by highly-skilled, well-known trainers and knowledgeable, forward-thinking professionals across the industry.”
Wow!
