In June, Google released 'Messages for Web' which are similar to the Apple iPhone iMessage for Mac. The App allows you to create and respond to text directly from your computer.
Maybe you are wondering why this is so exciting? Over the years I have had a few clients who used texting as their primary mode of communication and these clients were slow to respond to emails. Many of these clients had even asked me if they could have their invoices texted to them instead of being emailed. Using the new 'Messages for Web' this is now an easy task, let's look at how:
1) First, you must install Android messages for your Android phone.
2) From your computer's browser go to: https://messages.android.com
3) Follow the web instructions asking you to open the Android phone App.

You have the invoice link within your Messages for Web App conversation and the client has a text message with the QBO Invoice that they can open on their phone and even pay the balance due with the 'Pay Now' button.
It's another great App that can help give your clients exactly what they wanted if they are 'text' preferenced, and get you paid even quicker.
