Intuit has announced that they will be increasing the price of some of their most popular payroll products. Starting on April 1, 2018, pricing will increase for new and existing customers of:
QuickBooks Desktop Payroll
- The price for Basic Payroll (annual subscription) is increasing from $250 to $290*
- The price for Basic Payroll (monthly subscription) is increasing from $25 to $29*
- The price for Enhanced Payroll (annual subscription) is increasing from $390 to $450*
- The price for Enhanced Payroll (monthly subscription) is increasing from $39 to $45*
(*Note: According to Intuit, only customers who are on the base fee plus per employee fee are affected by this new pricing.)
QuickBooks Assisted Payroll
- Assisted Payroll is increasing from $99 to $109 (monthly).
Intuit Online Payroll
- Online Basic Payroll (annual subscription) is increasing from $250 + $2/employee/month to $300 + $4/employee/month.
- Online Basic Payroll (monthly subscription) is increasing from $25 + $2/employee/month to $30 + $4/employee/month.
- Online Enhanced Payroll (annual subscription) is increasing from $390 + $2/employee/month to $450 + $4/employee/month.
- Online Enhanced Payroll (monthly subscription) is increasing from $39 + $2/employee/month to $45 + $4/employee/month.
Intuit Full Service Payroll
- Full Service Payroll (monthly subscription) is increasing from $99 + $2/employee to $109 + $4/employee.
The pricing for Intuit Online Payroll for Accountants and Intuit Full Service Payroll for Accountants will remain the same at this time.
The price for Enhanced Payroll for Accountants was already increased in August (2017) and Accountants renewing this year will see that new price at the time of their renewal, but no additional increase is scheduled for this time.
All prices shown above are the 'list price' are are not inclusive of any discounts or other promotions that may be in effect from time-to-time.
Additional fees may vary depending on the payroll subscriber's individual requirements.
Annual subscribers with 'current subscriptions' will receive notification 45 days prior to their scheduled renewal date. Upon renewal their subscription rate will be charged to the new price at that time.
Monthly subscribers will be notified at least 30 days prior to the price change.
