Palo Alto Software, has recently released a new view option for the 'Dashboard' of their intuitive business planning and management tool, LivePlan. The new Profit and Loss Dashboard view provides a columnar format of the businesses P&L that is a handy reference for tracking business performance.
Additionally, because of LivePlan's mapping features, a business can have a very streamlined P&L view within LivePlan for management reporting and analysis no matter what the state of their actual general ledger within either QuickBooks Online1 or Xero2. LivePlan currently syncs data with QBO and Xero.
Kathy Gregory, Director of Strategic Development and Engagement for Palo Alto Software said in a prepared statement, "I think this (new) view makes the other metrics in the Dashboard, which were already there, even more useful. Start here and dig in even deeper for analysis."
Palo Alto Software will also be adding the Cash Flow and Balance Sheet views to the LivePlan Dashboard within the very near future.
In making this announcement, Ms. Gregory also noted that beta testing was underway of a new sync (powered by Autofy) that would connect LivePlan with QuickBooks Desktop products (QuickBooks Pro, Premier, Accountant and Enterprise).
Lastly, Ms. Gregory also announced that Palo Alto Software would host a Client Advisory Services Bootcamp of the LivePlan Method which is intended for accountants, bookkeepers and other professional advisors. The Bootcamp will be held October 2 thru 4 (2019) in Eugene, Oregon and encompases 7 courses over the 3 day period.
