Right Networks, the leading provider of cloud solutions for accounting professionals, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Propelware, the company that produced Autofy, a powerful connector of e-commerce and CRM applications to QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
The acquisition further expands Right Networks’ focus on seamlessly bringing accounting and SMB applications together to provide the simple and accelerated use of the key applications necessary to grow and run an SMB business. In addition to Autofy significantly accelerating the number of available applications within its already large ecosystem, Right Networks plans on using Autofy to expand its offerings to address the specific needs of highly transactional use cases like e-commerce. This acquisition follows the acquisition of Transaction Pro, the leading provider of data import/export tools and services for the global QuickBooks user community, further augmenting Right Networks’ strategy of solving the movement of data between applications seamlessly and securely.
“Access to data and integrations with applications within the accounting ecosystem is a core part of our strategy,” said Joel Hughes, CEO of Right Networks. “Propelware has built an elegant solution specifically designed to ease integration and the flow of data between applications and QuickBooks, as well as other accounting software. This solves the very real problem of keeping up with a rapidly expanding set of applications and data requirements for the SMB and for the accounting firms servicing those SMB clients. The capabilities of Autofy, coupled with the experienced team of people at Propelware, made this acquisition very compelling.”
“We are thrilled to be joining the Right Networks team,” said Joe Dwyer, founder and CEO of Propelware. “Right Networks’ commitment to delivering the best-in-class cloud service for accounting professionals and SMBs, along with their focused approach to expanding their offerings, made this an easy choice for us. Our biggest challenge at Propelware was scaling our go-to-market team fast enough to address the significant demand we had. Right Networks brings that scale and focus we needed to address that challenge,” said Dwyer. “We look forward to moving more aggressively now to bring the value of Autofy to a larger customer base.”
T.J. Ferris, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Expensify, a longtime Right Networks partner and Propelware customer notes, "The compatibility between the two companies is obvious and extremely compelling for the QuickBooks Desktop and QBO app ecosystem. We're definitely excited to see what's in store as these market leaders come together.”
The entire Propelware team will be joining Right Networks working from the Minneapolis office where Propelware is headquartered. This location will become Right Networks’ fourth office, joining offices in Hudson, NH, Alpharetta, GA, and Bozeman, MT.
