Today, we look at another popular remote access software/app. I know a lot of our readers started using TeamViewer when the "free" option hit and other, similar, products only offered paid versions. I also know that the "free version" was for personal use, not business or commercial purposes.
TeamViewer enables remote access to and from computers, mobile devices, network machines, and more. So, even though some of its paid subscription versions can be expensive—depending on your requirements—it generally offers a wide range of capabilities and features that pretty much fit any of your needs, depending on the plan you select.
It also offers a very economical remote only plan, which gives limited access to three assigned computers or servers.
TeamViewer works with almost every desktop and mobile platform, including Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS. It lets you remote into computers or mobile devices almost anywhere in the world and uses them as if you were right there.
In fact its slogan is, "Securely connect to any device from any device, no matter where you are.”
This is not software designed only with access to or from your home computer in mind; it is designed to give you the power and features you need to support your business or IT/software support functions in many cases.
With TeamViewer, you can deliver instant remote support to other members of your business team or to any of your customers. It doesn't matter if you need to diagnose a minor problem with how an application is running, or something major impacting the operating system of the remote computer, TeamViewer was designed to provide instant remote support for just these kinds of situations.

With TeamViewer, you can connect securely to almost any remote computer to access files and applications or troubleshoot problems whether you are working to resolve a computer glitch, a system crash or even a device failure.
It also lets you connect and be right there to provide assistance—remotely, of course—to your customers or teammates when they need you to resolve their problems.
But TeamViewer’s remote connection capabilities also mean you can manage work-at-home employees, work with team members in a satellite location just as if you were standing next to them, or support a business leader during an important meeting or conference with backup information and documentation because you are virtually present.
The old saying, "Reach out and touch someone," comes to my mind when I've had the occasion to use TeamViewer in the past.
One of the best aspects of TeamViewer’s remote connection capabilities is simplicity. There is no need to install any software on a remote computer prior to a support call, or to deal with firewall issues, or to attempt to configure routers and ports.

You will not have to spend 15 minutes trying to help a customer figure out how to initiate a support session, or deal with access limitations. Just send the TeamViewer QuickSupport link to your customer or team member, and once you’re connected, you will immediately be able to see their remote desktop screens, take control of their keyboard and mouse, and diagnose or resolve any issues they are having.
And isn't that why you need remote software like this in the first place?

If you need to support mobile devices, you need TeamViewer. Its cross-platform mobile device support, which is an add-on feature, provides remote support through desktop-to-mobile or mobile-to-mobile connections.
By partnering with more than 100 leading OEMs, TeamViewer can offer more remote access and support for not only Android smartphones and tablets, but also commercial Android devices like point-of-sale and kiosk systems. It even offers the industry’s first file transfers in the files app on iOS devices.
