Joe Woodard, host of Scaling New Heights, sat down with Frank Coker, director at Woodard Events, to get his thoughts on how today's accounting profession is changing and why specialization is key for ProAdvisors.
The conversation, held during the recent 2016 Scaling New Heights in Paradise Island, Bahamas, is part of a series of one-on-ones with executives during the conference.
For their chat, Coker stressed how important it is for accounting professionals and ProAdvisors to not only understand how business works today, but how they can help their clients succeed in their ventures.
"It's not generic any more," Coker said.
Coker discussed how Woodard is helping change the game by offering specialization services in areas such as law firms, construction and non profits. And more niche areas are on the way, Coker and Woodard said.
