Intuit released QuickBooks Desktop 2024 on Sept. 26 to QuickBooks ProAdvisors and the accounting community. The product is scheduled for release to the general public via Intuit websites by Oct. 3.
More importantly, it means my "QB Talks" Desktop 2024 version webinar was rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023, 2 p.m. (EST).
If you were already signed-up for the originally scheduled Sept. 20 webinar, you were automatically signed-up for the Oct. 4 rendition. You do not have to register again.
And if you hadn't signed up, you still can use this registration webpage.
I will be giving you the lowdown on QuickBooks Desktop 2024 and its changes including:
- Enhanced product security (AES 128 to AES 256 Encryption protocols)
- Improved update efficiency (Behind the scenes updates, notifications, future scheduling)
- Customer prepayments/deposits (For Sales Orders)
- Improved list search functionality (More efficient search & find in three lists)
- Enhanced item categorization (Improved and easier use of item categories)

And just in case any of you are considering migrating from QuickBooks Desktop to Online rather than upgrade to Desktop 2024, I also will give you my comparisons of QuickBooks Desktop Plus with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop-Enterprise with QuickBooks Online-Advanced.
Looking forward to seeing all of you on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023, 2 p.m. (EST).
