Murph and I are heading into unknown territory. We are going to take part in a TweetChat with PEX Card. PEX Card is a business prepaid card service that lets you adjust balances and set spending category restrictions in advance or on the fly.
Why are we doing this? Primarily because they asked us! Secondarily, however, we are doing it to push our own boundaries and comfort level and routines. I have personally minimized my exposure to Twitter because it seems like clutter, it seems time consuming and it does not seem as though it is worth the investment of time. However, as a media professional, I need to embrace this technology to better leverage it for the long term growth of my business. I recognize that many of our current and future audience members are way ahead of us in this area and I need to catch up.
So that's my dirty little secret. I don't like Twitter. But I need to embrace it for what it can potentially do for me. How about you? What are you putting off that you need to do that just may have a big impact on your business? Perhaps it is social media. Perhaps it is a shift to the cloud. Perhaps it is training. Whatever your dirty little secret is, I encourage you to face it head on and see what you can do with it.
Mark your calendars! Please join us on Thursday, April 30th at 2:00pm EST as we participate in our first Tweet Chat with PEX Card (@pexcard) during their monthly Tweet Chat series, under the hashtag #PEXCardChat. We'll be chatting about the challenges and opportunities facing Pro Advisors today.
