I was in the gym listening to some older 1990's tunes and one of the songs was "Bye, bye, bye" by the group N Sync. Then I thought instead of N Sync, QB Sync (or QuickBooks synchronization), saying:
Bye, Bye, Bye To:
* Sticky notes, lost note pads, the white boards, various has been aged processes in assigning work orders.
Hello, Hello, Hello To:
*Digital Dashboard with drag and drop features for tech assignments. Looking at a screen that has google maps integrated to determine which qualified tech is closest and when they would be able to be at the customers site.
Bye, Bye, Bye To:
* Clerks spending hours on attempting to read hand written notes on what was done. Going back and forth with the technician on what they wrote. Also discussions back and forth on what was done at the customer's site last and having to find the paper work in the file cabinet, in which not all files have been properly filed back. Then once that is complete, the clerk can send an invoice to the customer for payment.
Hello, Hello, Hello To:
*Tech can see on a mobile device either IOS or Android based the work orders that have been done for the customer. Also what equipment is at the site and what type of service may be needed and if they have a service agreement in place. Then the tech can record what service is being performed and take a signature from the customer on the mobile device. Also, the tech may create an invoice on site and take payment right away.
Bye, Bye, Bye To:
*Tech trying to remember when he started and stopped and when he took lunch, then filling out a time card. Again a clerk trying to read the archaic paper document in order to process payroll.
Hello, Hello, Hello To:
* Mobile device is recording the travel time, job site time, lunch and breaks. Then it downloads this information into QuickBooks weekly timesheet to process payroll.
