Recently I was in Denver, on my way to eastern Colorado for business, and my colleagues Sandi Lucke and Lisa Pierpont invited me to speak at the Denver Chapter of the National Advisor Network.
After giving them the skinny on how Joe Woodard talked me into 'this thing' called Intuitive Accountant, I proceeded with my 90-minute presentation titled, 'Sleuthing with the Data Detective'. The presentation was well received with several members commenting that they had learned something new about the QuickBooks database and database corruption. I think some of them were also stupefied by the tools and methodologies data professionals use to analyze and repair complex database corruptions.
Several members joined me for dinner after the meeting at a nearby restaurant called "Hamburger Mary's". If you ever make it to Denver, and you love a great Hamburger, then you must visit Hamburger Mary's. I had the slider-sampler and it was "grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!"
By the way, those of you who know me are aware that I live in the Tornado Capital of the World: Moore, Oklahoma. Well as circumstances have it, there was both a tornado and a hail storm at the Denver Airport as I was trying to pick-up my rental car. The hail was so think by the time Hertz let us out of the restrooms (they use as storm shelters) that it looked like a foot of snow had fallen. Who else, but me, would escape severe weather at home only to arrive in a tornado at their destination. Nevertheless I survived the ordeal, and still made it to the meeting in downtown with 10-minutes to spare.
So let me just say a special thank you to those in attendance: Anita Novak, Becky Ashcraft, Cyndi Menard, Cynthia Christianson, Glenn Perlinger, Jean Nightingale, Judy Fairbanks, Karen Zuppa, Lindsay Sandham, Lisa Pierpont, Lydia Vernon, Sandi Lucke, Tiffani Muniz and Tracy Bedard.
