Insightful Accountant told you on November 19th that changes to the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program were headed your way from Intuit, now Intuit has released additional information about 'the new ProAdvisor Program.' QuickBooks ProAdvisors have started receiving customized emails that contain links allowing them to sign-in and view the details of their new benefits.
These benefits include their standing in the new 'tiers.' Remember, we told you the new program was migrating from three levels to four 'tiers' (Silver, Gold, Platinum and Elite). There is a new 'point system' giving you ways to earn tier status. For example, you can get credit for active certifications, QuickBooks Online, Self-employed and Online Payroll clients, and there are new benefits designed to help you build your clientele and grow your business.
For more information about the new ProAdvisor Program you can read an official overview of the program changes at Intuit's Firm of the Future website, you can also review FAQs at Intuit's official Q&A page, or you can explore ways to earn ProAdvisor Program points at the official Earnings Overview blog post.
You will also be able to participate in a webinar about the new ProAdvisor Program and its benefits, but that link didn't seem to be active at the time it was provided to us, so we haven't published it in this story (upon initial publication). Insightful Accountant will get you the link to register for one of the webinars as soon as we have the updated information.
UPDATED INFORMATION: The link to the 'What's New in the ProAdvisor Program' Webinar is now live. The webinar will first be presented on December 14, 2018 at 12:00 pm Central-time. You can register for the webinar at this official Intuit website.
In the mean time, Intuit will be providing an introduction to the new ProAdvisor Program during the QuickBooks Online Certification Bootcamp being held December 5 & 6 (2018) beginning at 10:00 am (Central time). This 2-day 'virtual' conference includes a certification preparation track in both QuickBooks Online (core) ProAdvisor training and Advanced QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor training. The 'event kick-off' sessions being held from 10:00-11:00 am (Central time) on Wednesday December 5 will feature the ProAdvisor Program. Free registration is still available for the event at this official Intuit website.
So, whether you learn about the 'new ProAdvisor Program' from the various sites listed above, attend this week's certification bootcamp, or wait for the upcoming webinars, I'm sure you are just as excited about the new offerings and opportunities of this expanded program and benefits as I am. Thanks Intuit, for giving QuickBooks ProAdvisors more!
