Diane Gilson of InfoPlus Accounting Inc. was named Insightful Accountant's 2022 ProAdvisor of the Year during the 2022 year's "Scaling New Heights" in Orlando, Florida in June.
Diane started her accounting career as a staff auditor and tax preparer for a regional CPA firm where she worked for three years. She spent the next 13 years as an internal auditor and manager in the Management Accounting Department at Great Lakes Bancorp (now TCF Bank).
In 1994, she created Info Plus Accounting, which is focused primarily in QuickBooks® and Intuit Enterprise Solutions—powerful, flexible, multi-functional software accounting systems currently used by nearly 90% of small-to-mid-sized businesses. The firm helps its clients use their QuickBooks® accounting software more accurately, efficiently, effectively and creatively.

How is the winner selected?
Simply put, the ProAdvisor of the Year represents the best example of the standard established by Insightful Accountant for the ProAdvisor of the Year award.
The standard is based upon the cumulative standards of the primary domestic categorical awards established by Insightful Accountant, including QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, QBO Appology, Desktop Integrations, Education/Training, Niche/Specialization, CAS/BPO and Social Influencer.
The one individual, from the highest ranked categorical ratees, who best exemplifies the overall standard is awarded ProAdvisor of the Year.
