Nominations still are being accepted for Insightful Accountant's "2022 ProAdvisor of the Year," the "Top 100 ProAdvisors" and the related "ProAdvisor Categorical Awards," including the "International Awards."
The nomination period remains open through Feb. 4, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. (PST).
Nominations will be accepted for qualified QuickBooks ProAdvisors the world over. Don't think this awards program doesn't apply to you because you live and work outside the United States. Insightful Accountant will recognize an International ProAdvisor from the Americas (excluding the US), and an International ProAdvisor from the remaining portions of the blobe (aka: the Non-Americas).
If you are a QuickBooks ProAdvisor in Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America or the Caribbean, you potentially qualify from a geographic standpoint1 for the "International Americas Award" designated to your specific country at the time of the award.
And if you are a QuickBooks ProAdvisor who lives anywhere outside the Americas (and the US) anywhere within the remaining portions of the globe, you potentially qualify from a geographic standpoint1 for the "International Non-Americas Award" designated with your specific country at the time of the award.
To qualify, international participants—regardless of which country they practice in—must hold:
- Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor status or the equivalent* for their country or a country within their Intuit Global Region
- A formal ProAdvisor Certification from one of the countries where Intuit issues formal ProAdvisor certification (be certain to read the footnote below regarding equivalency)
All ProAdvisors—regardless of which country they practice in—also must have an active practice with one or more actual clients using QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop). Individuals providing staff services who do not involve actual client interaction in rendering ProAdvisor services using QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) are not eligible.

The number of nominations submitted for an individual has no impact on the outcome of the selection process. It also does not matter if a nomination comes from the nominee or if the nominee is provided by a nominator so long as all required information is correct.
Nominees meeting the minimum qualifications will be notified no later than Feb. 14, 2022, with details regarding the formal application and selection process.
Dates related to the formal application deadline and other essential information will be provided as part of that notification—such notification may take the form of either an email or published Insightful Accountant article.
*-equivalency for each country is based upon the offerings Intuit has made available for accountants, bookkeepers and business advisors within those countries. Insightful Accountant actively monitors such available offerings during the nomination and application process to determine candidate qualification and closely coordinates with officials at Intuit and the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program when questions arise regarding same.
1-other basic criteria or requirements for nomination may exist and will be included in the disclosures at the time nominations are announced.
