Tax Rep LLC is an online, member-driven organization whose mission is to enhance all of its members' IRS representation practices by sharing experiences, representation techniques and marketing strategies with each other. The group was founded by Eric Green and Jeffrey Sklarz to assist the accountant’s seeking assistance with cases. Inside Tax Rep LLC, members have access to over 100 hours of training, checklists, letters, and marketing materials to use in their practice. On a monthly basis, Eric has live training via webinar for all the members.
More critically, members have access to each other and to Eric Green and Jeffrey Sklarz to consult on cases and discuss issues. The goal is that members grow their practices knowing they have people who can coach them and back them up when needed. No member is on their own, but part of a larger community of accountants, tax attorneys and former IRS personnel who are there for them.
The program provides:
- Over 100 hours of training in a variety of representation topics
- Documents, checklists and letters members can use in their existing practice
- A marketing plan for members with marketing materials that can be customized for each member
- A forum where members can speak to each other about cases and issues
- Ongoing consultation with the founders, Eric Green, Esq. and Jeffrey Sklarz LLC
- Free access to the training books created by the founder, Eric Green
- Free access to the live conferences
There is only one level of membership. The training does not have levels, per se, but helps accountants start building their representation skills as well as their representation practice. There is initially 16 hours of intensive basic training for those who have never handled an IRS matter before. The basic training covers the basics of IRS exams, IRS Collections, managing a representation practice and marketing your services. From there the training gets more intensive, covering advanced topics and offers a monthly marketing plan for members to follow. There are sample letters, newsletters, retainer agreements, checklists, etc, for members to utilize in their practice.
Our education content is broken up into 5 areas:
- IRS Examination
- IRS Collection
- Criminal Tax
- Other Topics (such as ethics and practice management), and
- Marketing
The education consists of videos on more than 20 topics and includes handouts, case studies, sample letters and checklists that members can download and use in their practices. Each month Eric provides training and a marketing roadmap to keep members moving forward. And members can always consult with Eric and Jeff on their cases for guidance and advice.
