Have you noticed that Insightful Accountant has an improved print function?
We added this several months ago to improve your ability to save meaningful articles in print and should have told you sooner. The new PrintFriendly feature also means you can save our articles as PDFs.

By clicking the Green PrintFriendly Icon (shown in the red circle above) just below the byline of each article, you are taken to the www.printfriendly.com website (the link not live in this article). From there, the article you are viewing already is formatted with the headline graphic and entire contents laid out on a single page for viewing.

The new PrintFriendly functionality greatly enhances your ability to save copies of Insightful Accountant articles in print or as a PDF for future reference. (Murph)
From here, you have a few options:
- You can select Print (shown in the red box below) to print directly from the website. While you get a complete article version in better quality than our old print function, you still may have graphic images within the article cut by page-ends to fit your chosen paper size. This occurs because Insightful Accountant articles now are a single-page format, which was changed about the same time the new PrintFriendly feature was added.

- You also can select the PDF option (shown in the green box above). In this case, your article will be formatted as a PDF document so you can save it to your computer and then print that PDF. The downloaded PDF pages should not cut off any graphic images, although you may have spaces in the document where a photo will not fit in the remaining space on a page.
- In addition, there is an option to email the article in the higher quality formatting.
This is something many of you have asked about for years, and we're happy we can finally offer this enhanced printing method.
As a general rule, I think you will find the PDF print option renders the best outcome with one exception—you may find that any subscript we use in graphic source credits or our disclosures section will be overrun with lines appearing on top of each other.
I believe you will find this new method far better than what was available prior to the new Green PrintFriendly button.
